The work was done and car repairs where completeled promptly. Jessika was very helpful when completing my work order and suggesting using my points, she was a great help.

The process was easy and stressless. The salesperson was very informed of the car we were interested on and gave us more options. He was able to give us the specs of the car that we weren't aware of. During the whole process we were treated fairly and respectfully. I would recommend buying a car from this location.

I found the vehicle I was interested on line. I called and spoke to Sergio who told me the vehicle was available. I scheduled an appointment for the same day. When I arrived the vehicle was parked in front ready for me to see and test drive. Sergio explained all the features to me. He was very helpful, patient and kind. He was very knowledgeable about the car and explained so I could understand. Once I purchased the vehicle he followed up the next day to see how things were going and if I had any questions or concerns. He said I could contact him at any time for assistance. He made me feel like he really cared and would be there for me if I needed anything.

Tech did great work

Unfortunately, this is probably not your problem. We did purchase the 2025 Equinox vehicle in August 2024 at your dealership. Your service department can't figure out why the sensors keep staying on and going off. The vehicle has been at the dealership 4 times, The second time it was there over 2 months waiting on parts that didn't make it any better. Not only do the sensors activate whenever it also causes other sensors to activate, and the check engine light comes on too. It is a lemon for sure. We are trying to work with GM but they do not want to issue a full refund. Time to get a lawyer if this continues.

The whole buying process was very smooth from the beginning till the end. My wife and I live I high dessert and We made the trip to your dealer because the way your employees Sergio Velasquez and Jon Butterworth treated us. Good employees like them are the reason businesses are successful.

Needed new transmission and decided to replace with Chevy rebuild. Primarily due to the 100,000 mile warranty. The bad side was it took 6 weeks to get a new transmission from Chevy. Once it got to the dealership they had it fixed and ready to go in a day.

Mr. Powell and Chris were courteous and welcoming. Mr. Powell, our sales person was exceptionally well versed in my trucks capabilities and was patient and thorough in ensuring all was understood and connected prior to our leaving. Even though it was past closing time, both Chris (in finance) and Mr. Powell made us feel that we were there priority were not in a rush to leave and wanted to ensure that we had all our questions addressed.

Had an appointment set for oil change at 9:30 am and it took them over 3.5hrs to complete and also I was sent a text message to be able to speak with the intake vehicle rep (DON) and he never responded to my messages, what's the point !!!!

The service associate was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. He was denying my 1 year bumper to bumper warranty and already dismissing the warranty on my EV battery while claiming it was most likely something not covered by the warranty which was all prior to diagnosis. I then left with my car and took it to Thousand Oaks Chevy where they are currently working on replacing my EV battery that is covered under my warranty. I will most likely never go back to your dealership, thousand oaks was 100% more helpful than your associate.

Quick reliable service ! Had a nail in my tire and needed an oil change. By the following day I was back on the road in my sweet Corvette.

I took my wife's2021 equinox one Saturday to Check for transmission problems,,fod key lost ,,and 2 small door scratches,,all 3 suppose under warranty. They supposed to call me on Tuesday I wait till Friday to call them because they didn’t call me back..I went to pick the car on Saturday after one week they say -no transmission problems warranty no cover those little scratches and they forget about the key fob and there was another scratch on the driver door that I didn’t had before…well they told me to call another dealer to see if they can do something for me…..(really???terrible service

The email I received inviting me to this survey said the service was on June 30. I was not there on June 30 but I was there on June 20. It was my first "service" for my Equinox EV. Don, the service technician, was rude. It was as if I was interrupting him from the moment I walked in the door. When I asked what was covered in this initial complimentary service visit. He said they rotate the tires. That's it. When he printed out the paperwork for the 2nd time, because the first time was wrong, it included a fee for changing the cabin filter which I did not ask for. When I booked the appointment I requested to wait for the service, but Don scoffed and said it would be at least 3 1/2 hours. In the meantime, Jessika (the service tech in the next cubicle) was helping another customer who was there for the exact same thing. I heard how friendly and helpful Jessika was explaining to the customer why she was there and what was to be done, etc. If I return to your service department, it will only be if I don't have to deal with Don.

My service advisor Jonathan was again extremely helpful and made sure my vehicle was completed quickly. He is always courteous, friendly and helpful!

Dropped off my vehicle for a popping noise in the steering along with inconsistent steering response. Dealer had it for an entire day only to tell me the steering stops on the steering knuckles needed greased. Indicating "they should have been greased every oil change" which is false. Later that day I found the passenger side lower control arm camber bolts were completely loose. How the "technician" didn't catch this is beyond me because I was able to clearly see it without putting it on a lift. I highly doubt this review will be published but if it does, take your vehicle somewhere else.

I initially stopped by about six months ago just to inquire about a new Corvette, and I spoke with Sergio—who turned out to be the main reason I came back. From there, I worked with Ryan and Anthony, the general manager, to come up with some creative solutions that made it possible for me to purchase the exact Corvette Z06 convertible I wanted. In fact, Anthony even let me test drive his personal Z06, which had a huge impact on my decision to move forward that very day. The entire experience was unexpected in the best way. I’ve been using their service department for over a decade to maintain my previous Corvette, and the level of service has always been above and beyond. Helpful, efficient and honest

I needed an oil change and Tire Rotation comes with it . I took it in early in the afternoon for the Early Bird the next day. I picked it up the next morning at 9 a m . It doesn’t get any better than that with the help of my Service Advisor JESSIKA!

As for most people our cars are very important to us. This was only my second visit but for both of my visits I felt comfortable and confident with the work being done. John Savage has made that happen for me. I will continue making my service appointments with Simi Chevrolet.

During my standard oil change, I received a text message that i had outstanding engine light and other component that needed addressing and would be covered by the GM because of recall. THAT WARE EVERYTHING STOPS!!! NO ONE WOULD PICK UP A PHONE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS AND LET ME KNOW WHAT I NEEDED TO DO. I will not be going back again, too bad cause i like my chevy but the dealerships service needs brown "colored" customer service training.

The suggested time for the services was about two hours. After three hours I called and talked to the advisor. He stayed he would go talk to the tech and get back to me in five minutes. You need to fix/update your website, so that it gives the proper drive off cost; maybe even itemizing. It started at about $800 drive off, with a 2 year lease, and at the dealership, changed to a 3 year lease and $2000 drive off cost. Otherwise, Nate and Chris were great at Simi Valley Chevrolet. Good to be back in a Chevy, it's been a minute.

Not thrilled with the recent service experience. Dropped car off for service, but also needed warranty for a defective key fob case. Was initially told I would need to make a separate appointment for it. After having to explain that I drive an hour to visit this specific dealership, was told "we will do what we can to try". I left to get lunch, and was contacted a short time later that they cant find the wheel lock. I stated it is in the glove box, was told they already looked and it wasn't there. I was asked to come back and find it. Took the remainder of my lunch to go, and walked back to the dealership to find the lock for them. When i returned, I was directed to my car to find the lock. Car was in the bay on on the hoist. When i walked over, the tech stated he had already found it. Tech did point out a transmission leak at that time. Upon completion, I was told they will need to order a new key blade to address the key fob issue. Glad this was getting resolved, though I would make another trip to the dealership. While checking out, no mention was made about the transmission leak until I had had to bring it up. Did not seem like they really wanted to deal with it. Was told I will need to bring it back and leave it for at least a few days. Not cool that it is not even noted on the multi point inspection or service report.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize one of your employees, Don. He provides exceptional service every time — always helpful, easy to communicate with, and consistently goes above and beyond. He even follows up with calls when needed. I live in the Valley, but I continue coming all the way to Simi specifically because of the outstanding experience I have with Don. He’s truly an asset to your team!

Had to take me vehicle here to have the side mirror repaired because a body shop damaged it i paid for a diagnostic first i was told it was switch and the repair would be over 1000 i declined and purchased the part and took it back to the body shop and had it installed the switch didnt work so i went back to this dealership they did another diagnostic then told me it was the harness and that repair would be over a 1000 i declined the service and purchased the harness had it installed at the body shop it still didnt work returned the car again to the dealership ran another diagnostic only to be told it was a loose wire i would have paid out over 2000 for parts and labor only to find out it was a loose wire very disappointed thank god the body shop didnt charge me to install the two parts i purchased.

Communication among the service people needs to be better. When I came in I specifically asked for an oil change only. I had an appointment at a tire center down the road for a balance and rotation of my tires, so I declined the tire rotation. I ended up waiting a long time just for the oil change and then I stepped outside and noticed the service attendant torquing the lugs on my tire. When I asked if he rotated the tire he confirmed and I mentioned that I specifically asked to not have it done. At that time he blamed the service coordinator for entering it wrong on the service ticket. When I mentioned it to the service coordinator, he blamed the tech for not following the order and that the service order system did not jive with instructions for diesel service. Wow! Not a good look and makes me wonder what else is not done to spec. I will give the service coordinator props as he actually gave me a discount on the invoice for the inconvenience. I purchased my truck at this dealership so I bring it back to them for service even though I have moved 70 miles away. Not sure if I will continue to do so.

Jon had previously provided me with various replacement tire options, as my OEM original tires had started cracking with age, vs. miles! We discussed the pros and cons of the various brands and options, and Jon ordered them, and scheduled the service. Tires were replaced without any issues, and Jon let me know I could use my GM points against the cost as well. In addition there is a great deal on tires where you get one free! Very happy with my new tires, thanks!

Jessica was amazing and super helpful in a real dire time for me as my truck broke down 150 miles from home and I needed to be able to tow a horse and trailer back to my mountain farm. Fortunately she was able to arrange for a truck to replace mine and I was able to get out of town and back to my spot with the trailer. Meanwhile, the shop was able to address the problem which turned out to be very minor, but not something I could do in the dark in a field in Somis..

Always professional and friendly

The service guys were excellent, but the process traps you into overpaying for the service. $1,600 was ridiculous to change out a thermostat. The con starts with a $250 diagnostic fee then after you get sucked in is when they spring the overpriced repair fee. So, you are left with throwing $250 away and taking your vehicle to a reasonable place or paying the overpriced repair. I'll buy my cars & trucks from Simi Chevy but will be looking for a different place to do the service.

Took 3 weeks to get my truck fixed due to lack of an experienced mechanic to be available to work on it. Usually you guys are right on top of this stuff. This is my first time to have this happen. Thankfully everything was covered under warranty and you were able to provide a loaner for the time I didn’t have my truck. Jessika was great. Always in communication with me about everything. This doesn’t reflect on her. It really is about the dealership and not having the people needed to handle the work in a timely manner.

I had a great experience with Simi Valley Chevrolet. The team worked hard to find the vehicle I wanted and made it happen at a fair price. They are all easy to work with and honest. The first vehicle I wanted had something they could have swept under the rug and hoped I wouldn’t have noticed, but they didn’t. Instead they were up front and we ended up finding another vehicle. I took in my Tahoe to get checked since I was getting a message that the oil was low and I had just gotten an oil change 1 week prior. When I arrived a clerk asked me what I was there for. I explained the issue. Long story short, he was rude. He seemed annoyed to help me. Luckily, I was able to deal with Jessika once I returned and she was very helpful.
